June 4 and 6, 2013
Thank you for inviting me to facilitate two 90-minute workshops focused on TESOL & Technology. I hope you will leave with some new tools, new ideas, and inspiration to integrate new technologies in your classrooms.

Tools Jigsaw
Task: Choose a tool from the list below that you'd like to explore, find out more about, and even sign up for and try out. You will have 20 minutes to 'play' and then 5 minutes to report back to a small group.
Do a search for 'using ____ adult ESL' or something similar to find useful information.
Try to find the answers to the following questions:
A/ Online recording tools: Vocaroo and/or Soundcloud
B/ Vocabulary tools: Wordle and Tagxedo
C/ Survey creation tool: Google forms

Developing your Personal Learning Network
"A personal learning network is an informal learning network that consists of the people a learner interacts with and derives knowledge from in a personal learning environment.
